SHAH ALAM - The Iftar Ala Madinah @Karangkraf programme kicked off yesterday with excited visitors experiencing a new way of breaking fast together, ala Madinah.

Government employee Ahmad Ramadhan Mohd Lokoman, 42, said his presence at the Karangkraf Group Complex was not just to enjoy the meals provided but also to create new memories with his wife and three children.

"This is my first time joining a public group breaking of fast like this because previously, it was only with family and friends, so I invited my wife to try something new.

"As soon as I found out about this programme from friends, I immediately registered and Alhamdulillah, I got the chance to participate because I was told that space is limited.

"I want to express my gratitude to the organisers for arranging this programme, and indirectly, it also helps people to save on their iftar expenses, especially for the B40 group," he told Sinar.
