PETALING JAYA: Selangor Pas reiterates that the party is ever ready to face the by-election in Kuala Kubu Baharu following the death of its incumbent assemblyperson Lee Kee Hiong last week.

State Pas commissioner Datuk Dr Ab Halim Tamuri said that the strategy for by-election would be finalised and machinery would be deployed.

“Pas Selangor is always ready to face by-election expected to happen within this one to two months.

“Machinery would be deployed and strategy would be finalised, we will go wherever we need to.

"We will put the best candidate for Selangor,” he said at a media conference during an iftar session with media at a hotel in Petaling Jaya, here.

Together with Bersatu and Perikatan Nasiona, Halim said they would find a better solution and give the best for the people.

Halim added that social media would be the best platform to relay information to the people.

“We will make sure our campaign is the best and open (transparent) and there should not be any ban for those who want to campaign using either TikTok or Facebook.
