Amanah Youth extends condolences on Raisi's tragic passing

SHAH ALAM - Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Youth extends its deepest condolences following the devastating helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Iran President Ebrahim Raisi and its foreign minister.

Its chief Hasbie Muda conveyed the sentiments in a heartfelt message on its Facebook platform, emphasising the profound sadness felt upon hearing of the tragic incident.

“Amanah Youth extends heartfelt condolences to the families of President Raisi, the foreign minister, and all other passengers who tragically perished in this incident.

“Our prayers are with them, wishing them strength and resilience during these challenging times,” they said in a statement on Monday.

They stressed that the loss of Raisi and his foreign minister were not only a personal tragedy for their families but also a significant loss for the nation of Iran and the global community as a whole.

“During this time of mourning, Amanah Youth stand in solidarity with the people of Iran and extends its support and sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking loss,” the statement read.

Earlier, the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) President, Pir-Hossein Kolivand reportedly stated that no survivors were discovered at the location where President Raisi's helicopter crashed.

Kolivand disclosed that the crash site was located after hours of extensive search efforts in a mountainous area in East Azerbaijan province.
