Suspect in Khuzaimi Piee's home break-in used MPV with fake registration number

SHAH ALAM - The suspect who allegedly broke into the home of Selangor FC defender Ahmad Khuzaimi Piee on May 22 is believed to have used a vehicle with a fake license plate.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the suspect drove a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) during the incident.

"Based on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, the registration number on the vehicle is believed to be fake.

"So far, seven individuals have had their statements recorded to assist in the investigation of this case," he said, today.

Previously, a video believed to be from a CCTV footage around the Selangor FC player's home went viral on social media.

The video showed an MPV allegedly used by the suspect.

The video also showed an individual riding a motorcycle believed to belong to Khuzaimi after breaking into the player's residence.

It also showed an MPV entering and exiting through the security guard post at the player's residence.

It was reported that on May 22, Khuzaimi's home was reportedly broken into while he was away for training at the Selangor Training Centre.
