SHAH ALAM - Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) supporters are urged to maintain discipline while attending the FA Cup final between JDT and Selangor Football Club (FC) at Bukit Jalil National Stadium (SNBJ) this Saturday.

Johor State Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development, and Cooperative Committee chairman Mohd Hairi Mad Shah advised fans to avoid any actions that could provoke incidents.

He also called on the "Bangsa Johor," known as JDT’s "12th player," to show their support through enthusiastic cheers and chants.

"The sea of Red and Blue at Bukit Jalil National Stadium will provide an additional boost and motivation for the JDT players," he said in a Facebook statement on Thursday.

As defending champions with a strong track record, Hairi said JDT is well-positioned to achieve a hat-trick of FA Cup victories, having won the cup in 2022 and 2023.

"The JDT team is fully prepared and will be a formidable opponent for Selangor FC in the final.

"Alhamdulillah, JDT conceded only one goal in five matches leading up to the FA Cup final, showcasing exceptional performance from all players.

"The drive to achieve a hat-trick of FA Cup victories will energise the players, and Selangor FC can expect a challenging match.

"With this performance, spirit, and determination, I am confident JDT can handle any surprises," he added.

On Wednesday, Johor Fans Club president Azman A. Jalil announced that around 60 buses, organised in collaboration with other affiliate clubs, will head to SBNJ this Saturday.

Supporter clubs of Harimau Selatan never miss the chance to fill the stadium whenever JDT reaches a final, whether for the FA Cup or the Malaysia Cup.
