Tok Mat satisfied with Umno's wings assembly, primary focus on young talents and empowering women
The Foreign Minister said that Wanita Umno concentrated on empowering women and further increasing their quota in management, both within the government and non-government sectors.

KUALA LUMPUR - Umno Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said that yesterday's Supreme Council Meeting had focused on the party's wings; Umno Youth, Wanita Umno and Puteri Umno.
Mohamad, who is better known as Tok Mat, said that various focuses were discussed at the Umno Supreme Council Meeting yesterday at Dato’ Onn Tower.
“For instance, Umno Youth primarily focused on providing opportunities for young talents to actively participate in managing the party.
“They also emphasised the need to reassess the effectiveness of current educational policies, considering the rapid changes in technology,” he said.
The Foreign Minister also said that Wanita Umno concentrated on empowering women and further increasing their quota in management, both within the government and non-government sectors.
“Meanwhile, Puteri Umno focused on contributing to the empowerment of the party through social media, among other efforts.
“Alhamdulillah, everything went well, and this serves as preparation for our Umno General Assembly tomorrow morning,” he said when met by reporters following the conclusion of the meeting.
