SHAH ALAM - Umno supreme council member Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed has been reminded to not be too arrogant when making statements.

Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa said this in response to Nur Jazlan's remarks made on Thursday.

"I don't play poker, let alone slot machines. Winning big is fine, but don't get too big-headed," he wrote in a post on the X, today.

Earlier, it was reported that Nur Jazlan used a poker card game analogy and other remarks to highlight the importance of Pakatan Harapan (PH) being open to suggestions and criticism.

He said this was done to resolve differences within the unity government before the next general election.

He compared Umno, DAP and GPS to skilled poker players who knew when to bluff, when to raise the stakes and when to take risks.

He also implied that Pas was hoping to take advantage of the tensions between Umno and PH.
