SHAH ALAM – Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman expressed his gratitude after receiving over RM1 million in contributions to be distributed to the people of Muar.
The former Youth and Sports Minister shared that the assistance, which includes traditional clothing, prayer garments (telekung), robes and food baskets, was made possible through his collaboration with a prominent local fashion brand.
“RM1 million for Muar, Alhamdulillah. What do I get? Love and an incredible sense of happiness.
“When I see those who are less fortunate happy, that makes me the happiest person," he said in a post on X on Wednesday.
Actor and singer Bella Astillah also partnered with the fashion brand.

Bella has since revealed that the two are close friends who frequently engage in activities like badminton, particularly after becoming ambassadors for the brand.
According to Syed Saddiq, the aid includes 3,456 sets of baju Melayu and baju kurung for children, while 1,625 sets were designated for the elderly.
“How did we get all of this? Not by going on vacation, but by becoming models, doing photoshoots and climbing Mount Kinabalu.
“I will do anything for the benefit of the people of Muar," he said.
