Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah? ‘Like Romeo and Juliet,’ says MP’s mother

SHAH ALAM - Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and actress-singer Bella Astillah are once again in the spotlight, following a lighthearted remark from the MP’s mother about their growing closeness.

During a live TikTok session with user Space Dollah who is her son, Syed Abdullah, Sharifah Mahani Syed Abdul Aziz playfully compared their bond to a classic love story.

"Like Romeo and Juliet. Looking at his (Syed Saddiq) determination to swim from one end to another, he has never done that for his own mother... never swam, never climbed a mountain," she quipped.

Speculation around Syed Saddiq and Bella’s relationship has been swirling, especially after they were both chosen as ambassadors for a well-known clothing brand.

Beyond their professional partnership, the duo has been seen spending time together, including completing photoshoots and even reaching the peak of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah.
