Israeli forces shoot young girl in the head

The victim was rushed to Rafidia Hospital for treatment by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society on Wednesday.

RAMALLAH – A nine-year-old girl was reportedly shot in the head by Israeli forces in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

News portal Al Jazeera reported that the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the incident, stating that the victim was rushed to Rafidia Hospital for treatment by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military also deployed its armoured vehicles to the Tulkarem region in the northern West Bank.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, two armoured vehicles entered the city through the ‘Einav checkpoint at Anabta’s eastern gate, blocking traffic on the main road.

Two more armoured vehicles were also deployed through the Jbara military checkpoint south of the city.

Additionally, several other Israeli military units, including infantry and military vehicles, were sent to the affected area.

The Israeli military incursion into the city has now entered its 38th day, causing extensive damage to the local infrastructure.
