Two teenagers died, three seriously injured after car skidded in Alor Setar
The accident is believed to have occurred when the vehicle lost control before skidding and crashing into a road barrier.

ALOR SETAR - Two teenage boys died, while three others were seriously injured after the car they were travelling in was believed to have lost control and skidded in front of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Convent, Jalan Tanjung Bendahara, here, last night.
Jalan Raja Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief, Assistant Fire Superintendent Wan Azizul Hakim Wan Jaafar said his department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 10.28 pm before arriving at the location about 10 minutes later.
"The accident involved a Perodua Myvi carrying five 18-year-old boys. The accident is believed to have occurred when the vehicle lost control before skidding and crashing into a road barrier.
"Two victims were confirmed dead at the scene while three others who were seriously injured were sent to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB) Alor Setar for further treatment," he said in a statement today.
He said the bodies of the deceased victims had been handed over to the police for further action. - BERNAMA
