'For Muar’s sake, I’ll declare my assets, every year if I have to' - Syed Saddiq
He said he has no objections signing the CSA or MoU and complying with all stipulated conditions, including the requirement to declare assets, as long as the welfare of Muar residents is taken care of.

SHAH ALAM – Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, has confirmed that he will soon receive allocations from the government after holding more than five rounds of negotiations with Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
He said he has no objections signing the Confidence and Supply Agreement or a Memorandum of Understanding and complying with all stipulated conditions, including the requirement to declare assets, as long as the welfare of Muar residents is taken care of.
"If there is a requirement to declare assets, I will do so. I was among the first ministers to do it even before the election. If they want me to declare assets every year, I have no issue with that.
"This is for the benefit of Muar residents and I hope there will be good news for them soon so that welfare aid and development can be implemented as quickly as possible.
"If this agreement is successful, everything will proceed smoothly. I welcome this initiative and would also like to thank Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Fadillah," he told Sinar, today.
Previously, Fadillah, who is also the Government Consultation Council chairman said the former Malaysian United Democratic Alliance president had, in principle, agreed to the conditions set by the government.
He said all details were currently in the final stages and will be finalised soon. At the same time, he said there has been no response from other opposition MPs.
Earlier, Syed Saddiq claimed that he had no choice but to become a model as an effort to secure funds to support the needs of the people in his constituency.
