Family seeks public’s help to find missing 14-year-old Darwisya
Darwisya is believed to have left the house at approximately 10.30pm, carrying only a backpack and leaving no message for her family.

SHAH ALAM - A mother’s heartfelt plea to her missing daughter has captured the concern of many, as 14-year-old Darwisya Sofea has been missing for four days after reportedly leaving her home alone in Desa Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, on Tuesday night.
Darwisya is believed to have left the house at approximately 10.30pm, carrying only a backpack and leaving no message for her family.
Her disappearance was discovered when her mother, Nurul Jannah Johari, 41, noticed that her daughter was not in her room and that the house key was missing.
“‘Please come home, ‘kakak. If there is a problem, we can solve it together as a family. We are all so worried that something bad might have happened,” she said in an interview with a Malay weekly newspaper.
A police report was lodged the next day, but there has been no news or leads regarding Darwisya’s whereabouts.
Efforts by the family to trace her, including reaching out to her close friends and searching the surrounding areas, have so far failed.
“I have tried searching around the neighbourhood and contacted all of her friends, but nothing. It has been days since she disappeared.
“I am extremely worried about her safety,” she said.
The mother of four is now appealing to the public to come forward with any information that might help bring her daughter home.
“I sincerely ask for the help of anyone who may have seen or has information about Darwisya to please contact us or the police immediately. We appreciate every bit of information,” she added.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station or the family through the contact number provided by the authorities.
