SHAH ALAM - Barisan Nasional (BN) has secured victory in the Ayer Kuning by-election, according to projections based on unofficial results.

At 7.45pm, BN's lead of over 4,000 votes against Perikatan Nasional (PN), coupled with the need for fewer than 1,500 votes to reach the 50 per cent threshold, makes a PN comeback highly unlikely, with only 16 polling streams remaining.
