Ayer Kuning by-election: Low-spirited scene at Tapah Pas Complex
Only a handful of the party's state leaders present as they awaited the results of the by-election.
TAPAH – The atmosphere at the Tapah Pas Complex, which had been a gathering point for Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporters, appeared rather gloomy, with only a handful of the party's state leaders present as they awaited the results of the Ayer Kuning state by-election.
Among those present were state opposition leader Razman Zakaria, Perak Pas deputy commissioner Mohd Akmal Kamarudin and Parit Buntar MP Misbahul Munir Masduki.
Several supporters were also seen outside the complex, observing the unofficial results displayed via a provided projector.

PN had named Tapah Pas division chief Abd Muhaimin Malek as its candidate for the Ayer Kuning state by-election.
He contested alongside two other candidates, Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir from Barisan Nasional and Bawani KS from Parti Sosialis Malaysia.
