The Malaysian entertainment scene is about to witness a landmark moment as EMPAT Live in Kuala Lumpur 2025 makes its debut on Oct 18 2025 at the Mega Star Arena, promising a night filled with timeless vocals and cross-generational magic.
Organised by Anuar Zain Network in partnership with Altus ProHouse, EMPAT is an unprecedented collaboration between siblings Ziana Zain and Anuar Zain, their niece Ernie Zakri, and her husband Syamel, as a tribute to familial bonds and shared artistry, anchored by decades of musical excellence.
More than just music
For Anuar Zain, the legendary voice behind timeless hits such as Sedetik Lebih and Suasana Hari Raya, the idea of EMPAT was a heartwarming surprise.
“This project is truly exciting because none of us ever imagined that fate would bring us—my sister Ziana, our niece Ernie, and her husband Syamel—together as entertainers in the same industry, sharing one stage for a concert,
“This concert isn’t just about us—it’s about family, talent, and how we appreciate the continuous support from fans of all generations for the work we’ve done, and will continue to do.” Anuar shared.
A celebration for the fans
Malaysian icon Ziana Zain, known for her iconic anthem Madah Berhelah, views the concert as a gift for her loyal supporters.
“I see EMPAT Live In Kuala Lumpur 2025 as a celebration brought to life after numerous fan requests. They’ll attend one concert but experience music from two generations—mine and Anuar’s, and that of Ernie and Syamel.
“I won’t promise something extraordinary—but come and enjoy EMPAT for what it truly is. I want fans to leave with magical, unforgettable moments.” Ziana added
A dream realised
For Ernie Zakri, sharing the stage with her aunt and uncle is nothing short of emotional.
“I cried after being invited to be part of EMPAT Live In Kuala Lumpur 2025—to share the stage with my aunt and uncle, whom I’ve admired since childhood, watching how hard they worked to succeed,” said Ernie, expressing her deep gratitude to Anuar Zain Network.
“As legendary entertainers, Ziana and Anuar made my nerves melt away. They were open and professional in welcoming me and Syamel into this big concert project.” She added.
Her husband Syamel, sees EMPAT as a pivotal moment in his journey.
“Ziana Zain, Anuar Zain, Ernie Zakri—all of them are legends. I believe the collaboration between the four of us, each bringing our own energy, will result in a truly captivating performance concept,” he said.
A once-in-a-lifetime show
Behind the scenes, celebrated concert director Jennifer Thompson and music director Sze Wan, along with Malaysia’s top musicians, have spent three years crafting a show that will be unlike any other.
“We’ve been planning this concert for the past three years, and we’re thrilled it’s finally happening. All four of them are incredible singers and entertainers, but what makes this show magical is that each has a unique style.”
