Rafizi resumes duties, quashing resignation rumours
A source told Sinar that Rafizi was seen at his ministry office, resuming his duties as usual after a brief leave of absence.

SHAH ALAM – Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli returned to work on Tuesday, putting an end to speculation about his resignation.
A source told Sinar Harian that Rafizi was seen at his ministry office, resuming his duties as usual after a brief leave of absence.
However, it remains unclear whether he will address the rumours publicly.
Talk of Rafizi’s possible resignation, who also serves as Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president, stemmed from claims that he was unhappy with the recent PKR branch elections.
He was also reportedly considering stepping down, as mentioned during a meeting with supporters following the PKR Central Leadership Council (MPP) meeting on April 23.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim previously responded by stating that Rafizi’s decision to take extended leave should not be made into an issue.
He also confirmed that the leave requested by the Pandan MP was only for a few days and not until the end of the month, as previously reported.
