TELUK INTAN - The fatal crash involving a Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) truck and a lorry in Jalan Chikus, Sungai Lampam, Teluk Intan has now claimed nine lives, including a trapped FRU officer.

The tragic incident, which shocked the nation, also left 10 FRU members injured.

Perak police have since confirmed their identities.

All injured personnel have been transported to Teluk Intan Hospital, receiving further medical treatment.

The ten injured FRU members are:

Authorities are continuing investigations into the cause of the accident as the nation mourns the lives lost in the line of duty.

During a Special Parliamentary Briefing Session on the matter, the Tambun MP stressed that opposition accusations claiming he had betrayed the country must be corrected.

Yesterday, Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said six human skeletons, including five from the same family, believed dead for over three months, were found in a house that burned down last month in a Kangkar Pulai, Skudai, palm oil plantation.

The man would be charged in the Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate's Court under Section 325 of the Penal Code.
