Nurul Izzah ahead in PKR deputy president race

JOHOR BAHRU – Unofficial vote counts from sources close to PKR indicate that Nurul Izzah Anwar is currently leading the contest for the party's new Deputy President.
The incumbent PKR Vice President is in a direct challenge against the incumbent, Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli, who also serves as the current Economy Minister.
A party source, speaking anonymously, claimed that Nurul Izzah has secured approximately 9,000 votes, while Rafizi has garnered around 3,000.
These figures were preliminary and no official declaration has yet been made regarding the outcome of the race.
