SHAH ALAM – A well-known actor and singer who was arrested on suspicion of committing sexual misconduct involving a teenage girl is believed to have carried out the act during their first physical meeting.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said investigations indicated that the suspect and the victim, a student, had been acquainted for only a short period.

“Our findings suggest this was the suspect’s first act of sexual misconduct towards the victim.

“Their acquaintance is believed to have lasted between one and two months,” he said during a press conference at the Selangor Police Headquarters on Friday.
