SHAH ALAM – Karangkraf is set to host Karnival Siang Malam Karangkraf 2025, a three-day event running from July 25 to 27 at its headquarters in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, with an expected turnout of over 100,000 visitors.
This large-scale community event will feature a vibrant mix of cultural elements, family-friendly entertainment, student performances and local entrepreneurship showcases.
More than just a fun day out, the carnival aims to be a platform that unites Malaysians of all backgrounds through shared experiences.
In a statement, Karangkraf said the event symbolises the spirit of national unity celebrated in a relaxed, inclusive and family-oriented atmosphere.
“There’s something for everyone, from haunted houses, giant mazes and go-kart tracks to a night parade and Saloma Market, which showcases local food and crafts. It’s a celebration of who we truly are,” the statement read.

The carnival will also provide school students the opportunity to showcase their talents through various competitions such as dikir barat, traditional dance, marching drills, choral speaking, robotics, choir, recycled fashion and Smartlympic. Other programmes such as busking, 3v3 street sports, pound classes and traditional cooking activities (rewang) will also add to the festivities.
The event will create opportunities for small business owners and school cooperatives to engage in direct sales with visitors, further fuelling the local entrepreneurial spirit.
Karangkraf is also offering sponsorship packages starting from RM10,000 up to RM150,000 for main sponsors, complete with on-site branding and extensive coverage via Sinar Harian’s print and digital platforms.
“We welcome corporate partners who wish to make a meaningful contribution to society. This carnival is more than just an event, it’s a movement that brings communities together through culture, creativity and the spirit of unity,” the statement added.
