Man survives close-range shooting near Butterworth primary school
Dad's close call while picking up child from school
SINAR DAILY REPORTER
BUTTERWORTH – A man narrowly escaped death after the four-wheel-drive vehicle he was driving was shot at close range by unknown assailants near a primary school in Sungai Nyior on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at around 5.40pm while the victim, believed to be in his 40s, was reportedly on his way to pick up his child from school.

According to sources, the man was approached by two individuals who opened fire, targetting the driver’s side window of the vehicle.
The victim suffered no injuries in the incident.
Images circulating on social media show at least five bullet holes on the driver’s side window.
Police have not issued an official statement regarding the incident at the time of this report.
