PUTRAJAYA - Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s journey through life serves as a powerful symbol of visionary leadership, resilience and enduring commitment to the nation, said former health director-general,Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook, Dr Hisham reflected on Mahathir’s 100th birthday on July 10, calling the moment not merely a personal milestone but a symbol of Malaysia’s transformation from a post-colonial society into a modern nation.

“His life symbolises resilience, far-sighted leadership and unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress. Happy Birthday, Tun! A century of Tun’s service reminds us that vision, like history, is written by those who dare to lead,” Dr Hisham wrote.

The endocrinologist, who is also Chancellor of Cyberjaya University, emphasised that the legacy of the former prime minister continues to inspire public discourse, stir national pride and offer hope for the future.
