Umno Youth chief Akmal Saleh's father passes away
The funeral will be held after Friday prayers at the Ar-Rahim Mosque Muslim Cemetery in Merlimau, Jasin.
MELAKA - Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh's father Saleh Lempah has passed away at the age of 66 on Friday morning due to old age.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Dr Akmal who is also Merlimau assemblyman announced the heartbreaking news.
“With deep sorrow, we would like to inform about the passing of our beloved father, Cikgu Saleh Lempah, who has returned to his Creator.
“Please pray that our dear father will be forgiven for his sins and placed among the righteous,” he wrote.
The funeral will be held after Friday prayers at the Ar-Rahim Mosque Muslim Cemetery in Merlimau, Jasin.
Since late last month, the Melaka Executive Councillor for Rural Development, Agriculture and Food Security had been publicly sharing updates on his father's declining health and had asked the public to offer prayers for him.
