Teen’s decade-long sexual abuse by father since age eight revealed
The victim disclosed that the most recent incident occurred around 9pm last week at their home, while her mother was packing to leave with the younger siblings.
MELAKA - A decade-long ordeal of a teenage girl, who was sexually abused by her father, came to light after she confided in her mother last Saturday.
The victim, now 18 and employed as a salesperson, was allegedly raped by her father, a mechanic, since she was eight years old.
Sources revealed that the victim, the eldest of six siblings, was forced to keep the abuse a secret due to her father's threats of violence against her and her siblings.
The abuse came to light after the victim’s mother confronted her husband about his failure to provide financial support for the family, prompting her to leave the home with the victim’s five younger siblings.
It was then that the victim found the courage to reveal the secret she had kept for years.
"When the mother asked the victim to stay with her father after the separation, the victim refused and broke down in tears, recounting how she had been subjected to her father’s sexual abuse for a decade since she was eight years old," the source said.

Following this revelation, the mother took all six of her children to Kuala Lumpur, where they temporarily stayed with relatives before lodging a police report on Sunday.
The mother also alleged that her husband frequently beat the children, causing serious injuries, but she had not reported it earlier due to his threats.
Melaka police chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar confirmed that a report was received and the suspect has been arrested.
"The suspect was remanded for seven days from Tuesday to Monday for investigations under Section 376B of the Penal Code," he said.
