Neurosurgeon Dr Moventhiran Ramakrishnan opens up about the high-stakes reality of emergency brain surgery.

When it comes to conditions like intracranial bleeding, the surgery is often do-or-die situation, operating could mean a chance at survival but refusing could mean certain death.

But here’s the challenge: even in emergencies, some patients and families hesitate - the idea of drilling into the skull is terrifying. 

Dr Moventhiran shares how he explains the risks, outcomes and his own success rates to help families decide.
