Ahmad Samsuri to defend Pas vice-president post
The 71st Pas Annual General Assembly will take place in September at the Pas Complex in Kota Sarang Semut, Kedah.
KUALA TERENGGANU – Pas vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has confirmed that he will defend his position in the upcoming party elections, following nominations from party divisions.
He expressed gratitude for the support and affirmed his readiness to continue carrying out the responsibility.
"Yes, as the incumbent, InsyaAllah I will be defending this position. I am thankful for the nominations given by the divisions," he said in a video post on his official social media account on Tuesday.
He explained that the Pas Election Committee has given candidates time to decide whether to accept or decline nominations.
"For now I am not sure of the deadline, but I think at least another week has been given," he said.
