Woman in anime costume dies after fall from condominium
The victim’s body was discovered by members of the public in the parking area near the residential block after they heard a loud thud.
BALIK PULAU – A woman dressed in an anime costume resembling the character Kurumi Tokisaki was found dead after allegedly falling from a condominium in Bayan Lepas on Wednesday night.
In the 9.20pm incident, the victim’s body was discovered by members of the public in the parking area near the residential block after they heard a loud thud.
A resident, who declined to be named, said he heard the noise before stepping outside to check.
“At first, we (residents) thought it was some kind of tremor, but when we went out, we saw a woman already lying on the road,” the resident said.
The victim had previously often been seen in the condominium lobby area wearing anime costumes.
It is understood that the last time she was seen was with a woman believed to be her mother on the day of the incident.
Her body was sent to the Forensic Department of Penang Hospital at about 12.30 am for a post-mortem examination.
