From insecurity to inner glow: Chef Zam’s transformation

Weight loss wasn’t just about the physical change for Chef Zam - it was about reclaiming his confidence and self-worth.

From being called Humpty Dumpty at school to battling years of insecurity, low self-esteem, and public shame, Chef Zam admits he once felt he’d 'rather be dead' than have his name called out in public. 

But everything shifted after his bariatric (gastric bypass) surgery. Beyond shedding 30 kilos, he found his inner glow. 

The weight loss didn’t just transform his body, it healed his spirit.
