In the latest Fireside Chat, Avisena Healthcare Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr Wan Syazli Rodzaian Wan Ahmad reveals never-before-heard details of national footballer Faisal Halim’s devastating injury and his extraordinary comeback.

Describing it as one of the most severe burn cases he’s ever handled, Dr Wan Syazli says many senior plastic surgeons initially believed Faisal’s football career was over. 

Out of eight similar cases he’s treated, seven ended in permanent blindness, making Faisal’s survival and return to top-tier football nothing short of miraculous.
