Ejen Ali director drowns in Kinabatangan river
The 41-year-old was reported missing on Sept 23 after he fell from the Kampung Batu Putih bridge into the river below.

SHAH ALAM– Andi Abdul Ghani Kadir, the animation director of popular local animated franchise Ejen Ali, has died after drowning in a river in Kinabatangan, Sabah.
The 41-year-old was reported missing on Sept 23 after he fell from the Kampung Batu Putih bridge into the river below.
Andi and his wife had been involved in an accident when the car she was driving lost control on the bridge.
He exited the vehicle before falling into the river.
Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station chief Hairi Otuh confirmed that an emergency call was received on the same day regarding the incident.
“Andi’s body was found on the riverbank near where he disappeared,” he told reporters on Wednesday.
Tragically, Andi had just married his wife on Sept 16, a week before the accident.
