Security guard, boyfriend arrested for allegedly molesting pupil in school toilet
The suspects were arrested following a police report lodged by a woman who claimed that her daughter had been raped.
REMBAU - A female security guard and her boyfriend have been arrested after allegedly molesting a nine-year-old female pupil in a school toilet in Rembau.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said the suspects, aged 22 and 25, respectively, were arrested following a police report lodged by a woman who claimed that her daughter had been raped.
“On Oct 7, at about 8.06pm, a police report was lodged by a woman claiming that a man had raped her daughter inside a school toilet.
“The incident was reported to have taken place at about 9.36am when the pupil went to the toilet,” he told Sinar Harian, today.
Following the report, police detained the school’s female security guard and her boyfriend for further investigation.
Alzafny said the victim was taken to the Tunku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban for medical examination.
However, he said the doctors confirmed that the victim was not raped, but an attempted rape was suspected.
“Both suspects have been remanded for seven days until Oct 14, and the case is being investigated under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017,” he said.
