Let's go back, back to the beginning because the The Laguna Beach cast is reuniting for a special on the Roku Channel in 2026!
Ever since the news broke, fans are losing it over the long-awaited truce between Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari.
Cavallari dropped the bombshell on her Let’s Be Honest podcast. “Big announcement. We are doing a Season 1 Laguna Beach reunion special,” she revealed.
She added that Stephen Colletti and her talked about how they would love to do a reunion in Cabo. “Like, how fun would that have been getting the whole cast to Cabo? It would have been so fun. But unfortunately, the producers didn’t go for that,” she said.
“We had this idea to do the reunion. We got Lauren on board, which I know is huge and so from there we went and got Liz Gately, who was one of the original producers,” she shared.

Kristin then teased that filming had already begun.
“When you guys are listening to this, I will actually be filming for the reunion.
“This is the first time the whole cast will be together. I mean, since the show ended,” she added. Naturally, fans lost it when she posted a photo with Conrad on Instagram.
The caption said it all: “Everyone can put away their Team Lauren and Team Kristin shirts now.”
Cue the collective year 2000 (Y2K) meltdown in the comments. Celeb friends wrote, “We’re fine, everything’s fine. I love this so much.”
Others added a collision emoji, while others celebs dropped fire and heart emojis. Fans, meanwhile, went full nostalgia mode.
“Ahhh, let’s go back to the beginning, omggg the healing my Y2K heart needed,” one person wrote.
Another said, “This healed something inside of me that I didn't even remember was broken.”
Others simply quoted Hilary Duff lyrics: “Let the rain fall down and wake my dreams.”
The reunion brings back not just the original cast but also early 2000s memories of flip phones, low-rise jeans and drama-filled love triangles.
It’s been nearly 20 years since Laguna Beach aired, but clearly, the waves of nostalgia (and drama) are still crashing strong.
