HardTech and Transmission festival adopts new KBS safety SOPs for Grand Prix debut

SHAH ALAM – In support of the Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS)’s newly introduced five standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electronic dance music events, Malaysia's premier hard-techno and trance festival debut, HardTech & Transmission, will uphold stringent measures to promote a safe and responsible environment.
Set to debut during the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025 pre-party, the festival will implement measures including Hydration Points, on-site medical teams, anti-drug awareness messaging, standby hospitals and the deployment of drug detection canine units.
These efforts are all aimed at combating substance abuse and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all attendees.
Global music brands debut during MotoGP weekend
For the first time ever, Hi:Five Entertainment will host HardTech (Hardmission and Techmission) and Transmission, three globally renowned electronic music brands, in conjunction with the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025 weekend.
The unprecedented collaboration will deliver a weekend of high-octane energy, uniting motorsport fans and music lovers from around the world on Oct 18 and 19 at the iconic Helipad at Petronas Sepang International.
HardTech is described as a revolutionary force in the electronic music scene, making its Malaysian debut by pushing the boundaries of music, technology and culture.

Originating in Europe, its arrival in Malaysia marks a new chapter in the nation’s dance music history.
Together, the two brands promise to deliver an unforgettable sonic journey; from uplifting melodies to relentless beats; creating an electrifying and immersive electronic music experience in the heart of Southeast Asia.

Dress code and event highlights
In adherence to safety and conduct standards, festival-goers are encouraged to dress in comfortable ravewear, including shorts, joggers, tank tops and breathable fabrics, paired with closed shoes such as sneakers or boots for safety purposes.
Attendees are welcome to showcase their festival flair through accessories, glow items, face paint and LED pieces.
However, topless or shirtless outfits, overly revealing clothing and offensive prints or symbols are strictly prohibited.
Costumes or masks that cover the face entirely will not be permitted for security reasons.
