Man found dead on stairs of shophouse in Puchong Jaya

SERDANG - A man believed to be a foreign national was found dead, suspected to have been murdered, on the staircase of a shophouse in Puchong Jaya here on Thursday.

Serdang district police chief ACP Muhamad Farid Ahmad, when contacted, confirmed the discovery of the man's body.

"We will issue an official statement regarding this incident soon," he said.

It is understood that the victim, who was working here, was renting a room in the shophouse, and his body was found by a member of the public at about 8.30 pm before authorities arrived at the location for further action.
