KUALA LUMPUR - For DOLLA member Sabronzo, marriage is not an ‘excuse’ to slow down her career in the entertainment industry; instead, it has become a source of strength and new motivation in her artistic journey.

The singer, whose real name is Wan Sabrina Wan Rusli, tied the knot in Bali, Indonesia, last September. She said this new phase in life has brought balance, especially in terms of time management and focus on work.

"Alhamdulillah, married life so far has been amazing. I’m very happy with where I’m at in my personal life because I found an amazing person. I’m grateful,” she said during a press conference after the preview of DOLLA’s latest music video (MV) yesterday.

The 30-year-old singer added that her husband Ryan has been a great support and offers her different perspectives on her career journey.

"I think it helps that he’s also in the entertainment and music industry. So, when I talk to him about something, he can understand. It’s not like, ‘What are you talking about?’ because at least he understands and can also advise me on certain things. It’s nice,” she said.

She added that although she is entering a new chapter in her personal life, her focus on her career and the group DOLLA remains a priority-especially as they prepare for their second concert, scheduled for Dec 6 at Ideal Live, Kuala Lumpur.

Sharing further, Sabronzo said she also provides religious guidance to her husband, who is a muallaf (convert to Islam), but does so without pressure.

"This journey is, of course, very private for everyone personally, right? So we like to take it slow, one day at a time. I don’t like to pressure anybody, you know.

"We have to understand that religion is a very gentle faith-a religion of peace. So I think it’s really important how I approach it. At the end of the day, as long as we approach it with kindness and love, insya-Allah (God willing),” she said. - BERNAMA
