Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam explains that the Safe School Secretariat is not demanding full implementation within 30 days; what they want is for the Education Ministry show clear commitment to announce the reforms in Parliament and to acknowledge the school safety crisis with real accountability.
Yet until today, she says, these issues aren’t even mentioned in Parliament and silence from the ministry raises questions about political will.
At the end of 30 days, youth activists want only one thing - proof that the ministry is committed to making schools safer.
