Klang Valley areas face flash floods after morning downpour
Affected areas include Jalan Batu Tiga Lama and Jalan Kampung Kubu Gajah 10, which were closed.

PETALING JAYA - Parts of the Klang Valley have been inundated by floodwaters following heavy rain on Monday (Nov 24) morning.
Videos of flash floods in Shah Alam and Klang are circulating on social media after continuous rain.
The downpour added to congestion during the Monday morning rush hour.
Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) shared videos and images of flash floods in several locations.
Affected areas include Jalan Batu Tiga Lama and Jalan Kampung Kubu Gajah 10, which were closed.
“Adhere to the authorities’ instructions if you are told to move to the temporary shelter provided,” it said on Facebook.

The Drainage and Irrigation Department issued flood warnings in several Selangor districts.
These include Gombak, Petaling, Hulu Langat and Klang.
The department said it will continue monitoring and provide updates via Facebook or publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department issued thunderstorm warnings for parts of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
The warnings are in effect until 1 pm.
The council also shared on its social media platforms on several areas that saw water levels rising, including Taman Desa Kemuning in Seksyen 35, Kampung Budiman, Seksyen U14, Kampung Kubu Gajah, Seksyen U17, Taman Sri Lembayung, Seksyen 25, Jalan Opera, Seksyen U2, Persiaran Jubli Perak, Seksyen 19 and Persiaran Perusahaan, Seksyen 23. - THE STAR
