Suspect in Bangsar journalist attack arrested
The suspect was arrested in Cheras and has been remanded for three days.

Sports journalist and National Press Club (NPC) deputy president, Haresh Deol, was attacked by two individuals in Bangsar yesterday.
KUALA LUMPUR - A suspect linked to the attack on a journalist has been arrested.
“The 37-year-old man was arrested at about 2 am over the attack in Bangsar,” said Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Hoo Chang Hook when contacted.
He added that the suspect was arrested in Cheras and has been remanded for three days.
In a social media post yesterday, reporter Haresh Deol said he was attacked by two individuals.
“I have just been attacked by two individuals, with another recording the assault,” he said.
“I have lodged a police report,” he added. - THE STAR
