Why Healthy Athletes Collapse - The Hidden Heart Risks
Even the fittest athletes can face hidden risks.
CEO and Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at IJN Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Ezani Md Taib explains that cases of marathon runners collapsing mid-event are often linked to heart conditions that go undetected - not a lack of fitness.

He emphasises that individuals with a strong family history of early heart disease or sudden death must be even more cautious.
