Warisan has won the Kapayan state seat, defeating the incumbent from PH Datuk Jannie Lasimbang.

KOTA KINABALU – Parti Warisan (Warisan) has won the Kapayan state seat, defeating the incumbent from Pakatan Harapan (PH) Datuk Jannie Lasimbang.

According to unofficial results as of 7.40pm, Warisan’s candidate Chin Tek Ming is leading in the 12-cornered fight for the seat.

Meanwhile, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) has secured another seat with its candidate Syed Ahmad Syed winning in the Balung state constituency, which saw an 11-corner contest.
