Man finally gets 30-year-old lighter out of his stomach using condom

BEIJING – If you think you’ve seen everything on the internet, here comes China’s wildest medical jaw-dropper: a man finally got a lighter removed from his stomach three decades after swallowing it on a dare.

And the doctors? They didn’t even need surgery… just a condom. Yes, really.

Deng from Chengdu made the questionable life choice back in 1991, all because of a bet with his friend.

At first, he felt totally fine, but fast forward 30 years and his body finally went, “Enough.”

Doctors jumped in with a method no one had on their 2025 bingo card.

They managed to pull the lighter out through his mouth in just about 20 minutes and all without cutting him open.

The lighter had definitely seen better days.

According to doctors, it measured about seven centimetres long and was covered in a disgusting black substance that had caused it to decay.

“It still contained flammable liquid. The lighter fluid, when mixed with stomach acid, could have endangered his life as his stomach could burn from the inside,” the doctor reportedly warned.

So, a condom saved the day and Deng now officially tops the leaderboard for the most unhinged dare aftermath in human history.
