McLaren driver Lando Norris clinches Formula One world title
Norris was third in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix behind winner Max Verstappen of Red Bull and team-mate Oscar Piastri.

ABU DHABI - McLaren's Lando Norris of Britain has clinched the Formula One drivers' world title for the first time, reported German Pres Agency (dpa).
Norris, 26, was third in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix behind winner Max Verstappen of Red Bull and team-mate Oscar Piastri.
But that result was enough to clinch the title just two points ahead of Verstappen and 13 ahead of Piastri.
It is the 13th world championship title for a McLaren driver and Norris is the first to win it for the British team since Lewis Hamilton in 2008. McLaren have also won the 2025 constructors' title. - BERNAMA-dpa
