Trailer sideswipes three cars parked on lorry lane at Ayer Keroh R&R
The cars were allegedly parked along a lorry lane, preventing the trailer from clearing the bend.

ALOR GAJAH – Three car owners paid the price for parking their vehicles on the road shoulder after their cars were sideswiped by a trailer that failed to negotiate a bend in an incident at the Ayer Keroh Overpass Rest and Service Area (R&R) on Sunday.
The incident occurred between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
Several videos of the incident that went viral on social media showed two Perodua Alzas and a Proton Iriz sustaining scratches and damage to the left side of the vehicles.

Based on the footage, the cars were allegedly parked along a lorry lane, preventing the trailer from clearing the bend.
The situation caused traffic congestion and forced the trailer to squeeze past the parked vehicles in order to pass through the stretch.
It is understood that prior to the incident, several members of the public attempted to move the vehicles to prevent more serious damage.
Meanwhile, Alor Gajah District Police Chief Superintendent Ahmad Abu Bakar confirmed the incident and said the case is being investigated by the Bukit Aman Highway Patrol Investigation Unit (USLR).
“The incident occurred at the Ayer Keroh Overpass R&R in the Alor Gajah district and involved a trailer and three cars.
“The case is still under investigation by the Bukit Aman USLR,” he said.
It is understood that the owner of one vehicle has lodged a police report, while the other two owners have yet to do so.
