SHAH ALAM – The long wait is almost over as Rembayung, the restaurant owned by popular influencer and entrepreneur Khairul Aming, will officially open its doors on Jan 6 after months of careful preparation.

Khairul Aming, better known as KA, shared the news in a video posted on social media.

Rembayung is KA’s first restaurant venture and features traditional Malay dishes served in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

The menu includes a variety of kampung-style food and drinks, as well as a selection of traditional kuih.

According to KA, Rembayung adopts an inclusive concept with no private rooms or VIP areas, encouraging diners to enjoy their meals together in a warm, family-like atmosphere.

“Everyone is invited to dine together. Please pray that our business runs smoothly and we truly look forward to welcoming you.

“With this effort, we hope we can play a small part in bringing traditional Malay kampung dishes to a wider, global audience,” he added.

Previously, KA revealed that his first restaurant project, Rembayung, was developed with an investment of RM4 million.

The restaurant is built on an 8,000-square-foot site in Kampung Baru, just a nine-minute drive from KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers.
