Headmaster, wife found murdered in Sri Aman house
The motive and cause of the incident are still under investigation, and efforts to gather evidence as well as record witness statements are actively ongoing.

KUCHING - A primary school headmaster in Sri Aman and his wife were found dead with serious injuries to their bodies at a house in Taman Mutiara, Jalan Brayun, Sri Aman, about 190 kilometres from here, early this morning.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said the Sri Aman district police headquarters (IPD) received information from members of the public at about 6.55am regarding the discovery.
He said a police team from the Shah Alam IPD, together with medical personnel from the Sri Aman Hospital, was immediately dispatched to the scene.
"Initial examinations confirmed that both victims, a 45-year-old man and his 44-year-old wife, were pronounced dead at the scene," he said in a statement today.
Zainal said the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
"The motive and cause of the incident are still under investigation, and efforts to gather evidence as well as record witness statements are actively ongoing," he also said.
He added that police are urging members of the public with any information related to the case to contact the investigating officer, ASP Kalang, at 019-331 7785, or to reach the Sri Aman IPD District Control Centre or the nearest police station. - BERNAMA
