SHAH ALAM — Seputeh Member of Parliament Teresa Kok has denied claims circulating on social media alleging that she said halal certification for pork was appropriate.

In a Facebook post, Teresa stressed that she never made such a statement.

She described the post as defamatory and fake news.

“I have been slandered again. Please share this image and reject fake news.

“I never made this statement,” she said on Wednesday.

She was responding to a viral post bearing the headline ‘Halal certification for pork is appropriate’ — Teresa Kok.
