Ammonia gas leak leaves toll booth worker, security guard short of breath
The incident involved an Isuzu lorry carrying a load of 15 ammonia gas cylinders, one of which was found to be leaking.

SEREMBAN - Three individuals, including a toll booth worker and a security guard, were rushed to the hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties following an ammonia gas leak from a lorry at the Seremban Toll Plaza exit towards Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department Operations Control Centre said it received an emergency call at 2.40pm and arrived at the scene 10 minutes later.
“The incident involved an Isuzu lorry carrying a load of 15 ammonia gas cylinders, one of which was found to be leaking.
“Immediate action was taken to carry out stabilisation work, including sealing the leaking cylinder using an absorbent towel while awaiting a contractor to transfer the gas cylinders,” it said.
According to the department, the incident caused three victims to suffer from shortness of breath - a female toll booth worker, a male Plus security guard and the male lorry driver.
All three victims were sent to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital for further treatment.
