Preschool abuse scandal: Al Kauthar Eduqids launches probe after viral abuse videos
The trainee alleged that children with autism were being stripped and locked inside a storage room.

SHAH ALAM – Al Kauthar Eduqids (AKE) has launched an internal investigation following disturbing reports of alleged abuse and neglect at one of its preschool branches.
In an official statement, AKE confirmed it is cooperating fully with the police to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation.
“Closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage of the incident has been handed over to the police to assist with their enquiries,” the organisation stated.
In response to the allegations, AKE has activated a dedicated complaint channel (akeaduan@gmail.com) for the public to report any similar incidents at any of its branches.
The organisation urged the public to refrain from speculation and allow the legal process to take its course.
“AKE Headquarters always prioritises the safety and welfare of children and maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding such incidents.
“Any updates will be shared through our official channels,” the statement added.
The controversy gained momentum after social media personality Caprice shared a video on Instagram featuring a former trainee from a Shah Alam branch.
The trainee alleged that children with autism were being stripped and locked inside a storage room.
The shared footage included a harrowing 44-second clip in which a child can be heard crying hysterically from behind a closed door, believed to be the storage area in question.
In a separate video, a baby was seen crying uncontrollably while being forced to drink milk.
This footage is believed to have been recorded at another branch linked to the same childcare operator in the area.
