Fender Audio debuts in Malaysia with ELIE portable speakers and MIX headphones
First unveiled at CES 2026, where both products earned multiple Best of CES honours, the launch marks Fender Audio’s debut on one of the world’s biggest tech stages.

SHAH ALAM – Known for shaping the sound of generations, Fender is stepping into a new chapter of listening, one that fits neatly into everyday life.
Fender Audio®, the consumer electronics arm owned by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and operated under licence by Riffsound Pte Ltd, has officially entered the premium personal audio space with the launch of two flagship products: the ELIE™ (Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive) portable speaker series and MIX™ headphones.
First unveiled at CES 2026, where both products earned multiple Best of CES honours, the launch marks Fender Audio’s debut on one of the world’s biggest tech stages.
Riffsound chief executive officer Mah Chernwei said Fender Audio reflects the company’s commitment to combining intelligent design with exceptional sound.
“ELIE and MIX are built for how people listen today, portable, flexible, and deeply personal.
“With ELIE and MIX, we’re bringing that same craftsmanship and tonal excellence to personal and portable audio, making iconic sound more accessible than ever,” he said in a statement.
Now, Malaysian audiences are among the first in the region to experience the brand’s next-generation personal audio ecosystem, bringing Fender’s sonic heritage beyond the stage and into homes, commutes and everyday moments.
The collaboration sees Riffsound take the lead in designing and manufacturing a dedicated line of Fender Audio products that balance contemporary aesthetics with sophisticated engineering and premium sound quality. The result is a collection designed not just for audiophiles, but for modern lifestyles where music moves seamlessly between spaces.
ELIE™ speakers: Power that travels

At the heart of the launch is the ELIE™ portable Bluetooth® speaker series, which rethinks what compact sound systems are capable of.
Available in two models, the E6 and E12, each speaker features integrated subwoofers paired with a groundbreaking Waves System on a Chip (SOC) implementation, a first in the global market.
This advanced architecture allows the speakers to deliver powerful, distortion-free audio across a wide dynamic range while maintaining impressive energy efficiency. By reimagining how Digital Signal Processors and SOC technology function within speaker design, ELIE™ achieves volume and clarity that outperform other portable speakers in its class.
But ELIE™ is about more than loudness.
Designed to adapt to different listening environments, the speakers support up to four simultaneous audio channels with minimal latency. Users can connect via Bluetooth, smartphones or wireless microphones, plug in wired sources using XLR or 1/4-inch cables and add additional wireless channels through compatible Fender Audio accessories.
Whether set up in stereo mode for true left-right separation or synchronised across multiple units to fill an entire space, ELIE™ is engineered to move effortlessly between home, studio and outdoor settings.
MIX™ headphones: Built to evolve

Meanwhile, the MIX™ headphones take a different approach to personal audio, built around a fully modular design that evolves alongside the listener.
From sound preferences to visual style, MIX™ is designed to adapt rather than age.
Paired with the FWD Tx USB-C transmitter, the headphones support lossless LHDC-V audio, low-latency LC3 playback and Auracast™ transmission, ensuring high-performance wireless compatibility across devices. At the core are efficient 40mm Graphene drivers, delivering precise, detailed sound across genres.
Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, dual microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation and flexible wired and wireless playback options allow MIX™ to perform just as confidently on a busy commute as in a quiet workspace.
With up to 100 hours of battery life and replaceable modular components, the headphones are aimed at listeners who expect longevity and adaptability from their gear.
Pricing and availability

In Malaysia, the ELIE 12 speaker will retail at RM1,899, while the ELIE 6 speaker and MIX headphones are priced at RM1,399 each. All three products will be officially available from March this year, both online and in selected physical stores, including Fender’s official online platforms.
As Fender Audio makes its first move into personal and portable sound, the brand appears to be carrying more than just its iconic name forward; it is translating decades of musical heritage into products designed for how people listen today and how they will listen tomorrow.
